The garden looks so good I just had to toss in a couple pics. Here at 3100 feet in a northern climate we run behind most folks in the country, but we do get there. Began picking the first raspberries this week (had to cover them with bird netting to keep the stinking sparrows out) and we are eating blueberries now too. The potatoes are in full bloom and the beans are not far behind. These are a dry red bean (we also have greenbeans) that comes from Australia. You can’t buy it anywhere, we just happened upon it when some friends offered it to us. Its a meaty bean that is full of flavor and its an heirloom full goodness.
The cabbage looks excellent as do the tomatoes, though it will be some time yet before we get to enjoy a fresh one straight from the garden. A pat on the back goes to my wife who has really put together an outstanding garden this year!
I also got a great new five star write up on Amazon for my book Truth’s Blood. You might want to check it out.
